Job Details
We are hiring an experienced Full-Time Maintenance Technician in Omaha, NE, for our AM shift (6:30AM—3:30PM). The Maintenance Technician will assist us in maintaining our I Street facilities. This person is responsible for opening our building in the morning, repairing issues that arise, completing regular maintenance, and helping set up and tear down for our ministry events.

Job Responsibilities
- Review the weekly ministry schedule for set-ups and tear-down of rooms.
- Develop a schedule of basic maintenance tasks
- Complete required maintenance tasks promptly
- Ensure repairs are made timely in a way that is safe and in compliance with the local laws and regulations
- Install, troubleshoot, and make necessary repairs to our facility such as lights, flooring, carpets, walls, doors, etc.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks, including painting, spackling, and basic electrical or plumbing work
- Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned
Requirements & Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or GED with three years of maintenance experience
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
- Ability to work safely with hands and power tools
- Experience with problem-solving against multiple priorities
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of checks of criminal background, central registry, child abuse registry, and drug testing
